Betty Lou Rogers is my mother and I am her oldest child. She finally lost a hard fought battle with cancer
in the early morning hours of October 8th, 2008. I will miss her forever. Betty was married to Sid Rogers of Spokane,
WA when she passed away. She was the mother of 12 children, 5 daughters and 7 sons.
The picture at the right was taken during a trip she and Sid made to visit us in Arizona. (Click on the Picture

Betty Cochran - Rogers was born in Hays Montana at the FT. Belknap Indian Hospital, to Bryan Cochran Sr. and Mabel Horseman
- Cochran on August 30th, 1931.
She and Sid Rogers had been married since 1965. Betty married my father, Moses Nez
Perce in 1946 and divorced in 1948. She married Clarence (Joe Joe) Brockie Jr. in 1949 and was with him until his sad and
early passing in 1963.
Betty moved from Hays, MT to Spokane, WA, where she lived since 1967. She and Sid purchased
their Spokane home in 1971.
She was the catalyst that brought our family together and we will miss her dearly.

Her children are: Ruben (Nez Perce) Cochran, Vernon Brockie, Joe Brockie, Debra Brockie - Doney, Nita Brockie, Bill Brockie,
Becky Brockie, the late Clarence Brockie III, Gilda Rogers - Gifford, Sid Rogers Jr., Maneva (Tootie) Rogers - Cuavas, and
Richard Rogers.
